Drawing from our profound expertise in the technology and gaming sectors, SteelSeries chose digitalPR to spearhead the Nordic PR launch of their groundbreaking Arctis Nova Pro headsets. Collaborating closely with SteelSeries, we aimed to encapsulate the brand's vision and mission—delivering a product that seamlessly integrates daily lifestyle and high-octane gaming experiences.


Preparing the Nordics for the arrival of SteelSeries Arctis Nova

With an immense amount of effort put into all aspects of their newest line of headsets, the Arctis Nova Pro was an important and long-awaited milestone in the history of great audio products from SteelSeries.

Developed from the ground up for a modern audience that wanted a headset equally strong for everyday use and intense gaming sessions, it was important to help tell a story of a headset designed from the ground up with modern sensibilities, which managed to bridge the previous divide between gaming and lifestyle.


Slicing through the clutter and tuning the story to a wide audience.

As former tech and gaming journalists with a deep understanding of the extremely competitive headset market, the digitalPR team knew it was important to tell a story that would be able to slice through the clutter of information and buzzwords surrounding competing products. This required in-depth product knowledge of the Arctis Nova line, allowing us to tell a story focusing on both the strengths of the headset as well as the values of the company behind the product, which ultimately underscored the unique design choices.

The result was a story that spanned farther than only specialist press and was also featured by lifestyle media and national news publications. The story was also tuned and pitched with the characteristics of the different Nordic countries in mind, thereby maximizing the chance of exposure. Our comprehensive suite of duties included managing media relations, securing reviews and key influencers, bespoke press content and story pitches, press event management, and expert pan-Nordic localization.


Telling a greater brand story with the Arctis Nova as a starting point

By focusing on building a story meant for a wider audience, there was a massive interest in the Arctis Nova series from a multitude of different media, which directly resulted in reviews and feature articles from the biggest lifestyle, news, tech, and gaming publications in the Nordics. Simultaneously, we also helped differentiate the SteelSeries brand from its competitors by telling the story of their Nordic design characteristics and heritage, which further increased awareness and interest in the brand.
