QNAP is a renowned network appliance provider that offers a comprehensive range of network-attached storage (NAS) devices, and employs 1,300 staff globally, including more than 600 R&D engineers. The company tasked digitalPR to develop a dedicated inbound marketing strategy to acquire qualified leads in the Nordics, focusing on targeting CIOs in small and medium-sized enterprises.


Generate marketing qualified leads (MQLs)

QNAP’s goal was to acquire new MQLs in order to drive increased B2B sales amongst SMEs in the Nordic market. In order to achieve this objective, QNAP needed an inbound marketing campaign that delivered real value to prospective customers.

Crucial to the success of the campaign was curating valuable content that contained unique insights and expert analysis that went above and beyond what the market was already exposed to on a daily basis.

Through the use of highly-targeted PPC campaigns, our aim was to promote this content to prospective customers and secure MQLs at the lowest possible cost-per-lead, driving a high ROI for the client.


Content marketing supported by a tailored, data-driven PPC campaign

Using our team of experienced B2B journalists, digitalPR combined insights gained from interviews with QNAP staff, with our own expertly-researched content to create a series of e-books targeted at SMEs. Each e-book offered unique information that was of a high value to the CIOs QNAP expressly wanted to influence.

Using these e-books as lead magnets, our digital marketing experts created a series of PPC campaigns designed to acquire opt-in customer contact details for future marketing and lead nurturing. Each campaign adopted a tailored, data-driven strategy designed to reach high-intent audiences through Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

The strategy included creating custom target audiences that were aligned with the business goals, in addition to employing remarketing strategies to maximize conversions. We strategically promoted the content using clear call-to-actions, customized formats, and engaging video assets. Finally, we continuously tested different creatives and copy variations to ensure the best possible results and ROI.

The QNAP campaign was a resounding success, generating 627 qualified leads in 2021.

In addition to generating a high number of valuable leads, the campaign also succeeded in strengthening the brand awareness of QNAP in the Nordic market, reaching over 115,000 potential customers via our highly-tailored PPC campaigns.
