Growing PR agency seeks an independent and experienced Communications Advisor focusing on Consumer Tech PR

Would you like to work with some of the world’s leading consumer technology, lifestyle tech and gaming brands – and help shape how they are seen across the Nordics?

Our new colleague is reading this – could it be you?

digitalPR is looking for an experienced Communications Advisor who can take ownership of client accounts, lead PR projects and turn strategy into strong media results. You will join a growing communications agency where you will work closely with ambitious international brands and play an active role in both client development and the continued growth of digitalPR.

We are a team of former tech journalists, PR professionals and digital marketers who combine our different areas of expertise to create measurable results for our clients. We work across the Nordics, from strategy and advisory to hands-on execution, and take an integrated approach that brings PR, communications and digital marketing together.

We are busier than ever and are therefore looking for a new colleague based in Silkeborg, Aarhus, Copenhagen or the surrounding areas. Our headquarters are in Silkeborg, and we also have a presence in Copenhagen. Your exact location is less important than your ability to regularly work alongside colleagues in one of these locations. We value a strong team culture and in-person collaboration while also offering fixed days of remote work.

As a Communications Advisor at digitalPR, you will take responsibility for your own clients and projects while working closely with colleagues across the agency.

We would like you to:

  • Take ownership of client accounts – from meetings, planning and strategic advisory to execution, pitching and reporting
  • Lead PR projects and campaigns independently and ensure they move forward on time and at a high standard
  • Develop strong PR angles, stories and campaigns for ambitious B2C technology and lifestyle brands
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media in Denmark and, where relevant, across the Nordics
  • Plan and execute product launches, media review programmes, press activities and consumer-focused PR campaigns
  • Advise clients proactively and identify opportunities that strengthen both their results and the relationship
  • Contribute ideas, initiative and commercial thinking to digitalPR’s continued growth and new-business efforts
  • Work closely with colleagues across markets and disciplines to deliver the strongest possible results for our clients

Just as importantly, you are a team player who understands that great agency work depends on collaboration, trust and a shared ambition to deliver excellent work.

Work with exciting global brands

Our clients include some of the world’s largest technology companies and games publishers as well as ambitious startups and challenger brands. Earned media remains at the heart of much of what we do – from press releases and interview pitches to product reviews and media relations – but our work goes well beyond traditional PR. We pride ourselves on finding creative ways to help clients earn attention, strengthen their brands and reach the right audiences, regardless of platform.

We offer you

  • The opportunity to take real responsibility for exciting international clients and projects
  • Plenty of room for professional and personal development
  • The chance to actively influence both your role and the future direction of the agency
  • A supportive and ambitious team where colleagues help each other succeed
  • A healthy work/life balance with flexibility around working location and hours
  • Fixed opportunities to work remotely
  • Pension plan
  • Health insurance
  • Lunch arrangements

We are looking for

  • 3–4 years of client-facing PR or communications experience, preferably from an agency or a similar fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing projects and client relationships independently
  • Strong PR instincts and a good understanding of what makes a story relevant to journalists and audiences
  • A relevant background in communications, PR, marketing or journalism
  • A structured and proactive approach to managing several clients, deadlines and projects at the same time
  • Strong written and spoken Danish and English
  • A good network among Danish journalists and media; relationships across the wider Nordic media landscape are a plus
  • An interest in consumer technology, such as audio, smart home, gaming and lifestyle tech
  • The confidence to challenge clients constructively, take initiative and turn ideas into action
